Dynamic intern with Social Media & PR skills wanted for a full-time paid internship with the pioneer of the all-inclusive vacation concept – Club Med. The candidate is expected to have marketing experience with social media and public relations, willing to write and engage as a brand advocate. A mix of creativity, a customer service mind set, and attention to details are important for success in this position.
Social Media responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with our social media agency to ensure alignment with brand messaging and oversee daily content management and monitoring.
- Review, edit, and optimize the monthly social media content calendar.
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns at both the corporate and resort levels.
- Work closely with resort community managers and global corporate offices to facilitate content creation.
- Develop content briefs for resort community managers to execute across individual resort Instagram pages.
- Create social media recap presentations showcasing performance analytics from content managers and influencer-generated content.
- Assist in vetting and selecting influencers in collaboration with our influencer agency.
- Conduct competitive research to identify best practices and emerging trends in social media marketing.
Public Relations responsibilities include:
- Assisting PR Manager and PR Agency in daily operations
- Assisting with vetting & organizing group press trips and individual media/influencer stays
- Assisting and monitoring press inquiries
- Organizing media coverage and sharing via email internally monthly
- Coordinating partnerships and promotions
- Building media lists
- Weekly media research and filing
- Aid in event planning
Brand Responsibilities:
- Support key strategic projects to ensure consistent Club Med brand messaging across all 360 marketing channels, while contributing to the creation and development of marketing toolkits for the team.
- Collaborate with PR, Social Media, Content, and Product teams to align with Club Med’s brand vision.
- Develop brand guidelines for promotional campaigns aligned with Club Med’s tactical strategy.
- Assist in executing the communication strategy within the North American market.
- Gather and analyze customer insights, benchmarking data, and other relevant metrics.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Liaising with international resorts & corporate offices to obtain answers to posts/content
- Daily PowerPoint recaps of marketing initiatives
- Daily monitoring/tracking of social media networks
- Daily content review & weekly content generation
- Daily monitoring/tracking of US press coverage
- Competitive analysis & review
- Best practices analysis and benchmarks of other brands
- General reporting
- Assisting with compiling PR, Social Media and Content topics for NAM Marketing newsletter
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate from Marketing/PR/Communications program
- Ability to multi-task and provide recommendations to the marketing team
