TITLE: Manager, Partnership Strategy
ABOUT THIS POSITION:
Dear Media is looking to hire a full-time Manager, Partnership Strategy with a strong experience of executing multi-channel partnerships with talent from pre-contract ideation through post-contract campaign completion. The Manager will be responsible for owning high-level relationships with key talent, clients and agencies reporting into the Senior Director of Partnership Strategy & Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaison between talent and sales, providing talent support in project management, building proactive packages, ensuring deadlines are met and sharing consistent feedback on revenue goals & campaign performance via monthly and quarterly check-ins.
- Work closely with internal department leads across production, finance, sales, and business development on workflows and cross-departmental day-to-day tasks.
- Own and foster key client and agency relationships to develop customer retention and drive renewals.
- Work closely with sales in the pre-sale RFP phase to ideate on custom concepts and build sales materials including formal RFPs, case studies, talent media kits and recap reports.
- Own the post-sale process of executing branded campaigns across podcast, social media, video, newsletter, website and live events, acting as the main point of contact for brand partners and talent.
- Work closely with third party data and attribution partners (i.e., Nielsen, Magellan, Podscribe, etc.)
- Additional responsibilities as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Austin, LA or New York based
- 5+ year’s experience in managing influencer campaigns or a related field (i.e. Talent Management, Creator Marketing)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Advertising/Sales/Communications preferred
- Proven Sales & Marketing experience
- Previous talent agency or related industry experience is preferred but not required
- Strong written, verbal, and visual presentation communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all personality types and behaviors; flexibility
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume email/workload
- Experience in client services and/or talent relations is a plus
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented work style
- Ability to work against deadlines
- A passion for social media and an interest in developing talent relationships
SOFTWARE SKILLS:
- Google E-mail / Docs / Calendar (a must)
- Strong familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and all other social platforms
- Experience working with data & attribution platforms
- Traffic analysis tools experience (ex. CreatorIQ) is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Google Analytics is preferred but not required
- QuickBase experience is preferred but not required
