Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team, reporting directly to the Creative Director. This role is responsible for designing visual content that aligns with our brand identity and engages our target audience. The Graphic Designer will work on a variety of projects, including digital and print materials, marketing assets, internal and external communications, and tradeshow design. The ideal candidate possesses strong creative skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to interpret project requirements to deliver impactful designs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role will bring ideas to life and help drive our brand's visual presence across multiple platforms.
Summary: Provide Inpro Corporation with the design and production of specified marketing department projects that include print, AV, digital and other media while working with cross-functional teams.
This includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. This person will shape the visual aspects of websites, brochures, literature, tradeshow graphics, digital assets and much more. Graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performs all art and production related tasks for the development and insertion of print advertisements. This includes but is not limited to concept meetings, proposal presentation, art development and/or direction, direct photography, supervise all production, vendor procurement, issue purchase orders and conduct reviews and approvals.
- Perform all art and production related tasks for the development and printing + digital assets of sales literature. This includes but is not limited to concept meetings, proposal presentations, art development and/or direction, direct photography, supervise all phases of production, vendor procurement, issue purchase orders, conduct reviews and approvals including press checks as needed.
- Perform all art and production related tasks for the development and printing + digital assets of annual company catalog. This includes but is not limited to concept meetings, proposal presentations, art development and/or direction, direct photography, supervise all phases of production, vendor procurement, issue purchase orders, conduct reviews and approvals including press checks as needed.
- Perform all art and production related tasks for tradeshows, including booth displays, banners, signage, and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency and effective audience engagement. This includes but is not limited to concept meetings, design, proposal and its presentation, and directing exhibit producers. Work in concert with Inpro staff to display the most beneficial image.
- Performs all design, art, and production-related tasks for the development and production of direct response programs. This includes but is not limited to concept meetings, proposal presentation, art development and/or direction, direct photography, supervise all production, vendor procurement, issue purchase orders, basic understanding of postal regulations and conduct reviews and approvals.
- Perform all design, art and production related tasks for the development and printing + digital assets of public relations projects such as the corporate newsletter, application, testimonials, and other press event materials. This includes but is not limited to concept meetings, design/proposal presentations, art development and/or direction, direct photography, supervise all phases of production, vendor procurement, issue purchase orders, conduct reviews and approvals.
- Perform all design, art and production related tasks for the development, production, and maintenance of the web site and other electronic + digital media. This includes but is not limited to concept meetings, design/proposal presentations, art development and/or direction, direct photography, supervise all phases of production, vendor procurement, site electronics and links, conduct reviews and approvals.
- Design and develop internal corporate materials, including presentations, training manuals, policy documents, and internal newsletters, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and effective communication of corporate messaging.
- Communicate with all internal parties and personal before, during and after all projects. Present and discuss plans, concepts and production methods. Exchange ideas and observations.
- Cross-departmental collaboration and communication on projects before, during and after completion.
- Interact positively within the department and other departments to enhance our team atmosphere.
- Continued education and growth on best practices relative to position.
- To insure "fresh, creative approaches", develop a means to continue to stimulate creativity among all department members as well as yourself.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or experience required.
- Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in graphic arts, design, or similar discipline. Diploma from a two-year college with 1-2 years of related experience and/or training. Or, equal combination of education and experience.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate a strong attention to detail, and have exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Specifications:
The Individual Must Possess Knowledge Of- The knowledge of print advertisement production and related file requirements
- The knowledge of literature production, file requirements, and multi-color, web and sheet-feed printing
- The knowledge of trade show exhibit design and construction techniques
- Digital Marketing + design best practices
- Direct response design and production including printing and postal regulations
- Newsletter design and production
- Web site and email graphic development and implementation
- Thorough understanding and experience in computer software currently used, as well as making recommendations for new software packages
- The proofing process, and the ability to proof design and text
- Develop project estimates and monitor them
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign are required.
Authority
- Assist with the training of new hires
- Assist with the preparation of department budget and make recommendations
- Negotiate costs with vendors and award the project to the vendor
- Determine best graphics and photos for projects
- Approve or reject print projects
