What We Need
Are you a scrappy marketer who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves by delivering detailed product content and putting pen to paper getting your creative ideas flowing? Brady Corporation is looking for a Channel Marketing Specialist to help ideate, define and execute product content management and marketing tactics to support the distribution channel team. This role will need to fill the gap between creative and business partners to bring high quality marketing tactics to life. You will be required to apply creative and critical thinking to multiple parts of the business so we can better reach and communicate with our extensive network of distribution partners.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the channel management team by partnering with product management, product content and marketing teams to develop new product launch deliverables
- Maintain data and assisting channel management team with data cleanse initiatives
- Deliver communication & positioning of product life cycle management for distributor partners, particularly at a product's end of life
- Analyze market data, trends and competitor behavior to optimize marketing strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help define, design and implement how various distribution creative requests are going to be put into action
- Review, analyze and edit existing campaigns, materials and promotions for distribution effectiveness, and adherence to distributor brand guidelines
- Provide monthly content for distribution newsletter to keep distribution sales teams up-to-date with new product and marketing initiatives and how they can be leveraged to drive sales
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in marketing or similar field
- Excellent written and verbal communications, project leadership, presentation and analytical skills
- Familiar with developing product marketing content across various channels including, but not limited to: ecommerce website, social media, email, trade advertising, webinars and/or trade shows
- Motivated by data and measurement, must have demonstrated results
- Proven organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively while managing multiple projects and business relationships
- Ability to occasionally travel (up to 10%)
