SUMMARY
The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for assisting the Sales Director of North America in retail strategies across traditional retail chain accounts, as well as off price accounts. They will be working on distribution analysis, shipment, and consumption analysis as well as being responsible for updating, analyzing, and sharing syndicated data, and POS trends to marketing, product development, as well as internal leadership
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build relationships with specialty retailers, off price retailers, and distributers
- Help to identify and respond to opportunities that build market share long term and maximize sales in the short term (tools, processes, etc.)
- Validates the PO’s and checks with the Supply Chain the inventory availability and the order shipments.
- Validates the returns, DIF and any deduction with the retailers
- Demonstrate strategic planning to achieve sales goals
- Assist in all new retailer vendor paperwork, to include coordination with Sales, IT, Operations, and Finance
- Set up new sku’s in retailer’s systems
- Ad / Promo performance analysis
- Competitive activity analysis based on promotional activityTrack allocated, new, and promotional sku’s-(Orders vs Actual)
- Develop and Maintain New Item Tracking documentAd hoc projects as directed by management
- Update & maintain store locator
- Manage order forms, UPC lists
- Account promotion plans, account forecast projects
- Create and distribute monthly newsletter
QUALIFICATIONSB.
- BS/BA in Business
- Effective Communication and Organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Powerpoint, and WordUnderstanding of sales & marketing
- Demonstrated interest in sales and merch in the beauty industry
