We’re seeking someone who thrives in a creative environment, with the ability to elevate our content and connect with our dynamic audience.
This is a 1099 contractor position requiring 10-15 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Editing & Writing: Edit and refine new and existing blog content to ensure it matches the brand's unique voice and tone.
- SEO Proficiency: Optimize content using tools like SEMRush, Yoast SEO, and other relevant platforms to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Content Calendar Management: Create and maintain a monthly blog and newsletter content calendar to ensure consistent publishing schedules and organized team collaboration.
- Newsletter Creation: Write compelling and clickable email newsletters with a strong understanding of best practices for high open and click-through rates.
- Basic Design: Use Canva to create engaging graphics and visuals for newsletters and blog posts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the social media and PR teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment across all brand platforms and campaigns.
- Software Adaptability: Be resourceful and comfortable learning and utilizing software tools that support audience growth and monetization.
Requirements
- Proven experience with WordPress and SEO optimization using Yoast SEO.
- Experience creating and managing content calendars.
- Ability to match and maintain the established brand voice and tone.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and audience engagement.
- Basic design skills using Canva.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and resourceful.
- Reliable availability for 10-15 hours per week.
