Quatrro Business Support Services is seeking an Accounting Manager in Chicago, IL for our nonprofit division. The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting functions of multiple clients. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days/week on-site with a public health client in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers accurate and timely financial statements, providing coaching and counseling to stakeholders and operations managers
- Owns and manages the clients'monthly financial statements, plans, and schedules. Leads the budget process and incorporates periodic analytics
- Builds and maintains successful relationshipswith clients and key stakeholders,providing them with world-class customer service and consulting
- Works closely with clients to solve issues related to complicated financial statement situations
- Monitors finances to aid clients functioning within those guidelines and provides financial analysis and advice to clients
- Provides best practices within Quatrroto help the client improve their business execution
- Coordinates with other internal Quatrro teams for consultative support on all financial services
- Accesses and contributes to the organization’s subject matter expertise objectives
- Provides leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional teams aligned to a particular client delivery process
- Addresses client concerns and issues to ensure they are resolved promptly
Qualifications:
Educational Background and Experience:
- 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or business with an accounting/finance focus
- 4+years of accounting experience
- Proven experience being client-facing and overseeing multiple client accounts
- Ability to manage multiplepriorities and functions
- Skilled in working cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple teams and clients
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of industry-specific accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Business acumen and ability to communicate with key stakeholders and C-level executives
- Growth mindset
- Proven abilityto work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
Nice to Have:
- CPA/CMA preferred
- Experience in the grant administration and management of federal, state, and local grant funding
The estimated pay range for this position is $85k-$110k/year.
