About The Role
TaskForce seeks a Content Curator & Asset Manager who will be responsible for uploading, tagging, and curating all of the content from gifs to stickers to stills to memes that gets output from the Into Action Lab. This role reports to the VP of Content.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Asset Management
- Upload and tag GIFs, stills and memes into TaskForce's proprietary DAM software, inputting accurate metadata related to clients, artists, and campaigns
- Publish content from DAM library onto GIPHY and Tenor channels, using tags with SEO considerations for end user discovery.
- Audit uploaded content: re-tag, organize, and take down pieces as needed
- Research, log, and upload relevant content for our secondary DAM library featuring outside content.
- Notify developer(s) when the systems are down.
Content Curation
- Create and maintain an ongoing content calendar with important political, cultural, and holiday events for each year
- Find, curate, and upload outside content for our secondary DAM library
- Update a weekly newsletter on Mailchimp showcasing upcoming events, copy, and content for readers to use on social
- Curate collections and stories on GIPHY for our various channels
- Communicate with GIPHY editors weekly to understand trends and deliver collections directly
- Curate and schedule stories and posts for our Instagram and Facebook pages in accordance with our Content Calendar
- Curate and regularly update collections for our microsites
- Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in weekly Editorial Meetings including updating a cultural report for the week and pitching new editorial strategies against the Content Calendar
- Contribute to morning stand-ups and strategic meetings around calendar
- Adjust and formulate new tagging and uploading strategies based on client, partner, and internal feedback
- Communicate directly with the:
- CEO to ensure appropriate collections are being made to meet client and company expectations
- Content Team in order to be up to date on the latest output
- Organizing Team in order to ensure they have access to the latest content
- Marketing Team to ensure accurate reporting on their end for clients

- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

- Deep commitment to progressive values and electoral engagement
Your Experience
- 3-5 years experience in asset management, content curation and SEO
- Familiarity with the strategies, platforms, tools, and techniques used in digital organizing
- Understanding of social media strategies and platform algorithms
- Experience with AWS systems, Squarespace, Webflow, and similar platforms
- Experience working directly with developers
