Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and producing high-quality content for various channels, including print, website, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns, collaborating with the marketing team to ensure that content aligns with the Rosecrance brand identity and overall marketing strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications or related field
- Demonstrated experience working in content creation
- Knowledge of storytelling for web and print, interviewing, researching, writing, editing
- Proficiency in social media communications
- Interest in and understanding of behavioral health preferred
- Ability to effectively interact with staff across the organization, alumni, donors, volunteers, board members.
- Advanced written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adjust work schedule according to the business needs
- Intermediate Windows-based including, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Internet Explorer and Outlook
- Photography and/or videography experience desired
- Resourceful, highly organized, and able to prioritize
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Ability to work within a team
- Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance
Responsibilities
- Work hours prescribed by supervisor and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned
- Contribute to content creation for the Rosecrance publication Reach, the e-newsletter, social media channels and website, ensuring a consistent brand voice and identity across all communication channels
- Create content for marketing collateral – print and digital
- Support podcast and external video production
- Work with clinical and administrative staff across the organization to identify newsworthy topics for internal and external communication.
- Build strong relationships with staff and internal partners across multiple facilities and departments to plan and identify content opportunities.
- Provide photography and videography content for print, website and social media outlets, as appropriate.
- Support crisis communications planning and execution, as necessary.
- Serve as a member of the Communications Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
- Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance
- Assume other related responsibilities as delegated and assigned.
Schedule
- Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
- Shift: 1st shift

- Work Mode: Hybrid possible after initial training period
