Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Social Media & Content Strategist to elevate our online presence and drive engagement across our social media platforms and client communications. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the social media landscape and a passion for the creator economy. Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for G&B's Instagram, College of Influence Instagram, and LinkedIn, aligning with the company's goals for thought leadership, talent showcasing, and client engagement.
- Implement a "flood the block" approach, ensuring a consistent and high-volume output of quality content across platforms.
- Stay abreast of the latest social media trends and adapt strategies to maintain a cutting-edge presence.
Content Creation & Management:
- Create high-quality, engaging content, including video, written posts, and graphics, tailored to each platform's audience.
- Collaborate with the LA-based team and national team to feature talent, employees, and clients in compelling content.
- Manage and evolve the company's client newsletter, ensuring it delivers value and drives engagement.
Executive Branding:
- Develop and execute a content strategy for the company executive's personal brand, including content creation and posting schedule management.
- Proactively push the executive to create content and build their online presence.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the PR team to align social media strategies with PR efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and content quality.
- Monitor social media performance, analyze data, and report on results.
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies.
- Excellent content creation skills, including video, written, and graphic content.
- Strong understanding of the influencer marketing landscape and trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and driven with a passion for the creator economy.
Desired Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in social media management and content strategy.
- Experience working with influencer talent and / or within the entertainment industry.
- Experience with email marketing and newsletter development.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
