POSITION OVERVIEW:
As our Social Media Content Creator & Newsletter Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative social media strategies across multiple platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn. In addition, you will oversee the creation of engaging, informative newsletters that keep our clients and potential clients up to date on relevant legal topics. Your role is essential in promoting the firm’s services, building brand awareness, and fostering engagement both online and through email marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement a social media content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn.
- Create original, engaging, and creative posts, videos, and graphics that align with the firm’s branding and messaging.
- Write copy for posts, including captions, blog entries, and video scripts, tailored for each platform.
- Monitor trends and identify new opportunities to create relevant content in the criminal defense and personal injury space.
- Engage with followers, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Analyze social media performance using insights and metrics to optimize content and increase engagement.
- Newsletter Creation & Coordination:
- Write, design, and distribute regular email newsletters to keep clients, prospects, and partners informed about firm news, legal updates, and industry trends.
- Curate relevant content, such as case studies, legal tips, and client testimonials, for inclusion in newsletters.
- Ensure that newsletters are visually appealing, easy to read, and aligned with the firm’s brand.
- Segment email lists and ensure newsletters are sent to the right audience.
- Track and report on newsletter performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and other key metrics.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of legal content shared in newsletters.
- General Responsibilities:
- Manage the social media posting schedule to ensure consistent and timely content delivery across all platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in social media algorithms, email marketing best practices, and industry trends to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
- Support the firm in developing new content ideas for blogs, videos, and educational materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, Manager, or similar role, with a portfolio of work on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Experience in creating and distributing email newsletters, with proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to craft engaging, clear, and concise content for both social media and newsletters.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual design, video editing, and storytelling.
- Self-sufficient, independent, and proactive, with the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to measure and analyze social media and email marketing performance metrics.
- A passion for law, criminal defense, and personal injury topics is a plus.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work remotely and in-office with flexibility in hours.
- Experience in creating content related to legal topics or working with law firms is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is preferred.
- Familiarity with email marketing tools and list management.
