JOB DESCRIPTION: Film & TV Development Internship
SUMMARY: PICTURESTART is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time interns for Spring 2025. Our interns will have hands-on opportunities to learn and immerse themselves in day-to-day creative activities, including reading, evaluating, discussing material, writing coverage, drafting filmmaker/talent lists, writing for our Weekly Newsletter and tracking submissions. Additionally, interns will gain Office Operations experience and will have the ability to network and be mentored by a company Executive. The ideal candidate is excited to learn about the creative side of entertainment at a quickly growing media company, has strong attention to detail, possesses a positive attitude and has an eagerness to learn.
We currently offer Paid internships and may also offer unpaid internships eligible for school credit. Our program begins in early January. Ideally, candidates should be based in Los Angeles and have access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Read submissions and write coverage
- Check avails
- Write for PS Weekly Newsletter
- Front Desk coverage
- Help with variety of office tasks
About The Internship
- Our 2024 Spring internship will run from January to May
- Full Time schedule (40 hours per week)
- Part Time Schedule (16-24 hours per week)
- Friendly and dynamic work environment
Qualifications
- Current college students, or recent graduates
- Excellent analytical and written skills
- Familiarity with Google workplace (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
