Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Coordinator to enhance and manage both internal and external communication strategies. This role is essential in evolving our brand image, streamlining communication processes, and driving brand content across various platforms. The overall goal is to effectively manage brand content and communication in order to support and advance the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication Management:
- Oversee internal and external communications to ensure alignment with the brand's image and communication policy.
- Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve communication actions and enhance the overall communication strategy.
- Collaborate with the Jouffre Lyon Communications team and other international locations to maintain alignment and synergy between offices.
Internal Communication:
- Write and design the monthly internal newsletter, ensuring engaging content and effective layout.
- Organize and execute internal events such as seminars and team-building activities.
- Create and manage internal communication materials, including welcome booklets and training materials, using Adobe Suite.
- Maintain and manage the photo library and database.
- Participate in and support internal projects.
- Manage the internal communication budget efficiently.
External Communication:
- Write, co-manage, and update content for the company website, ensuring it reflects the brand’s voice and objectives.
- Create and send out monthly newsletters to external stakeholders.
- Handle community management across social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Vimeo, and Pinterest.
- Develop and manage press relations, including writing press releases, press kits, and handling media inquiries.
- Design and produce external communication materials such as brochures, business cards, and greeting cards using Adobe Suite.
- Oversee art direction and creation of videos and digital materials.
- Organize and co-manage external events, including trade shows and open houses.
- Liaise with external service providers like photographers, caterers, and graphic designers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Community Management:
- Manage and animate social media platforms with engaging content and sponsored/collaborative campaigns.
- Conduct strategic monitoring and trend analysis to stay ahead in social media trends.
Business Development and Client Relations:
- Develop and implement formats for client follow-up to ensure satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
- Analyze client feedback and project debriefs to improve services and communication strategies.
- Source and manage imagery from clients for use in various communication materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Relevant industry experience is a plus, though this is an entry-level position.
- Proficiency in English, French or Spanish is a plus.
- Strong skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Information
Location: Long Island City, NY
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 annually
Start Date: September 2024
