Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary resource for members, delivering outstanding support through prompt and professional responses to inquiries.
- Guide members in navigating our array of programs, products, and services while facilitating connections with peers and providers.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, members, vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure efficient operations and consistent communication.
- Contribute to strategies aimed at improving the overall member experience, optimizing resources, and maximizing our organizational impact.
- Develop and manage engaging, member-centric content for newsletters, social media platforms, websites, and email campaigns.
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives that bolster member retention and growth, as well as promote programs.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of the e-newsletter, including content development, visual design, and brand consistency.
- Manage social media channels to create engaging posts and encourage member interaction.
- Maintain and refresh website content, ensuring an optimal user experience while collaborating with external partners to enhance functionality.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for both virtual and in-person events, including conferences, workshops, and networking opportunities.
- Assist in event preparation, such as creating promotional materials, managing registrations, and coordinating sponsor logistics.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to address the priorities of the board, committees, and regional groups.
- Maintain accurate membership and event data within the Association Management System (AMS) to ensure efficient documentation and processes.
- Generate reports, analyze data, and support the administration of annual benchmarking surveys.
- Assist with projects designed to elevate member engagement and enhance operational workflows.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an association, nonprofit, or educational organization, with a focus on membership programs or events.
- A genuine enthusiasm for delivering a positive member experience through personalized and proactive communication.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A collaborative spirit accompanied by exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort in working independently and as part of a small, remote team.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, marketing tools, and virtual meeting software (e.g., LinkedIn, Canva, Zoom).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, though candidates with an associate degree and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Availability for occasional travel within California (6-8 times per year) for events and meetings, including some overnight stays.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends based on organizational needs.
- Capability to lift and transport supplies for events when necessary.

Compensation And Benefits
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for a 35-40-hour workweek.
- Location: Primarily remote; candidates must reside in California, with priority given to those in the Sacramento, San Francisco Bay Area, or Los Angeles regions.
- Pay: Starting at \(29-\)32 per hour, based on experience and skills.
