As the Marketing Manager at Flower Union, your mission is to support the growth and visibility of our brand by executing innovative marketing strategies that align with our core values. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure that every interaction with our products—whether through our retail partners, brand collaborations, or direct-to-consumer channels—reflects the quality and authenticity of the Flower Union experience.
Flower Union is committed to offering a pure, strain-specific cannabis experience that highlights the expertise of top cultivators. Your role will be instrumental in showcasing these partnerships and helping expand our reach to a broader audience of cannabis enthusiasts. You'll execute key marketing initiatives that enhance our presence across Colorado and beyond, while learning the ins and outs of the cannabis industry.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day marketing operations, supporting sales campaigns, and driving brand engagement through multiple channels, including digital platforms, events, and in-store promotions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of brand marketing strategies, including travel throughout Colorado to support various marketing activities and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to maintain clear and professional interactions with team members, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Manage outgoing shipments of influencer, affiliate, and VIP sample orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks of marketing materials, sales support items, and promotional assets for partner stores and events.
- Create compelling content as assigned, including social media posts, blog entries, and other marketing collateral.
- Support daily social media activities, including posting, responding to direct messages, conducting influencer research, and monitoring engagement.
- Execute scheduled pop-up events, ensuring all activations adhere to brand standards and provide detailed event recaps on the next business day.
- Assist with event operations, including set-up, on-site activation support, and breakdown, ensuring seamless execution.
- Conduct store visits to support brand visibility, assist with product delivery, and ensure proper in-store display set-up as assigned.
- Manage and address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback from the e-commerce store, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Write and produce various documents as assigned, such as blog posts, training materials, and newsletter content to support internal and external communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging, visuals and alignment with Flower Union’s overall goals.

Must-haves:

- Must posses, or be willing to receive, a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division badge

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Proficiency in managing social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and influencer outreach.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear, engaging content for various digital platforms (email newsletters, blogs, social posts).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for the cannabis industry and a willingness to travel for marketing activations and events.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in email marketing, including campaign creation, list management, and performance analysis.
