Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investor Relations Associate to join our Investor Relations team. The ideal candidate will support the development and maintenance of investor relations programs, including deck building, IR communications, newsletter creation, and follow-ups with potential investors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in investor relations within a dynamic and growing venture capital firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Deck Building Assist in the creation and maintenance of investor presentations and pitch decks, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with company messaging
- Communications Draft and distribute investor communications, including emails, press releases, and other correspondence, ensuring clarity and consistency
- Newsletters Develop and manage regular newsletters to keep investors informed about company updates, financial performance, and market trends
- Investor Follow-Ups Conduct follow-ups with potential investors, scheduling meetings, answering inquiries, and providing necessary documentation. Work closely with the Managing Partners’ calendars
- Database Management Maintain and update investor databases, ensuring information is current and accurate
- Event Support Assist in organizing investor meetings, roadshows, and conference calls, ensuring smooth execution and effective communication
Qualifications
- Experience in the investor relations, consulting, or banking / finance industries is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Superior PowerPoint skills — ability to create visually appealing and professional presentations, quickly transforming ideas and concepts into slides
- Good email etiquette
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn
