As an Associate Quality Assurance Tester, you’ll help define, design, and develop a next-generation insurance platform for a commercial financial provider in the DMV with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do:
- Work with technical leads, business analysts, product owners, developers, and possibly client staff to design test scripts using manual solutions
- Provide day-to-day support on testing-related activities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver on your commitments
What you’ll need to succeed:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar
- 0-2 years of experience in testing (manual and automated) in all areas of the SDLC (i.e., front-end, back-end, middleware)
- 0-2 years with testing tools/libraries for a back-end application using Java or JavaScript and API based testing (REST Assured, JSON, Postman, Swagger, Groovy, or Gradle)
- 0-2 years of experience working as a QA/Test Engineer supporting Agile development projects
- 0-2 years preparing comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Comfortable analyzing the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Able to maintain relevant knowledge about new testing tools and test strategies
