Freddie Mac’s Corporate Communications & Marketing internal communications team helps employees understand and value the mission and business of Freddie Mac. We do it by telling creative and inspiring stories about our company, our people, and the impact of our work. Our internal communications team works in partnership with the Content, Creative Services, Web Services, Market Insights and IT teams to bring storytelling to life online and offline to make sure our delivery motivates and engages the audience.
Your Impact:
- Content Editing: Edit all internal content, including newsletter copy, articles, and features for style, voice, and understandability.
- Content Management and Production: Manage the corporate editorial calendar, coordinating with content leads, design resources, and partners throughout the organization.
- Communications Channel Support: Work with development and content production teams on page updates and layout changes, and support intranet governance processes. Optimize channel performance by managing intranet features and personalization processes and providing input on newsletter A/B tests and CMS changes.
- Crisis Management Responsibilities: Serve as team lead in coordinating and sending out communications during any kind of crisis.
- Team Engagement: Collaborate with a team of communications professionals that hold themselves to a high standard, operate in a team-first environment, take on new challenges and growth opportunities, deliver a high-quality product, exceed the needs of internal clients, and succeed in an ever-evolving environment.
Qualifications:
- Four-year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
- 3-6 years of experience in communications and marketing communications
- Knowledge of digital and traditional media, editorial styles, emerging trends, digital creative tools, and user experience.
- Experience with:
- Wrike or other project management/workflow tools
- SharePoint or other CMS
- Eloqua or other email platform.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $70,000 - $106,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
