The Supply Chain and Logistics Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing and managing the events, social media, public relations and PowerPoint presentations for new and existing business opportunities. The Marketing Manager will be required to work with various departments and stakeholders. The job may require follow-up and attention outside of standard working hours. No client facing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Event management, social media postings, PowerPoint presentations, copy writing (ability to write a story), public relations, newsletter management, member management and current events.
- Coordinate internal strategy calls and summarize solutions with market intelligence
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all relevant information is included in all communications
- Provide feedback to internal management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Educational Background/Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and experience in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field
- 3-5 years in Freight Forwarding, transportation and logistics industry, with a focus on marketing and copy writing and event management.
- Experience working with PowerPoint, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Level 4 Excel experience required
Skills and Competencies
- Support level to company and drive it
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel formula understanding
- Knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, a plus
Must have a great attitude with high energy needed. Required in office for 90-day training, followed by a hybrid possibility.
Based pay is $80,000 a year.
