GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Marketing Communications Analyst position supports the Marketing & Communications team in the development, execution, and coordination of internal communication and B2B marketing strategies for Dole Fresh Fruit North America. Further, the role provides general support to the marketing and management team.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Campaign Coordination: Ensure all physical and digital communication materials are produced and delivered on time. Work with the Sr. Marketing Communications Analyst and HR department to support the planning and execution of internal communication initiatives across all locations in North America.
Internal Communication: Develop engaging written and visual content for various internal channels such as the DFF Intranet and the monthly newsletter, keeping employees informed about company updates, events, and initiatives. Support the Sr. Marketing & Communications Analyst and other departments by creating training materials that cover different business and professional development concepts and uploading them to Dole Community Training.
Event Planning and Coordination: Assist with the planning and promotion of different events for internal and external occasions. Coordinate event logistics and scheduling, and with applicable vendors.
Social Media Management: Manage day-to-day activities and monitor engagement on the Dole Fresh Fruit Company LinkedIn page. Create a posting calendar that supports the outreach strategy set by the Sr. Marketing & Communications Analyst. Assist the HR department with their recruitment goals and promote company culture. Track performance and make sure it supports strategic goals. Provide recommendations for improvement based on performance.
Content Creation: Develop engaging written and visual content for our LinkedIn site, internal email communications, the DFF Intranet site, the DFF newsletter, digital signage, and other channels as needed. Collaborate with the Sr. Marketing & Communications Analyst and the Corporate Marketing team to ensure all materials align with the brand guidelines.
Marketing Support: Assist in the planning and executing of marketing campaigns as needed. Tasks associated may include but are not limited to researching industry trends, competitor activities, and press coverage. Keep track of sales and management marketing material inventory.
