Position Overview
The Electrical Engineering Manager will oversee all aspects of electrical and electronic design, component selection, and software systems for new and existing products and controls. Lead the integration of new technologies, improve processes, and manage team and contractor resources.
Electrical Engineering Manager responsibilities:
- Lead electrical/electronic design and software development for product lines.
- Direct integration of new systems and technologies to enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and address field issues.
- Manage and develop the electrical engineering team, including hiring and mentoring staff.
- Guide budget planning, project milestones, and technology trends.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international safety standards and approvals.
Electrical Engineering Manager qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical/electronic design and software systems.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams and managing complex projects.
- Expertise in hardware/firmware development and international product approval processes.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium, OrCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks) and basic "C" programming.
- Strong analytical skills, project management abilities, and a collaborative work approach.
