Description
The Sponsored Social Strategist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive brand partnership campaigns across social media. This role requires collaboration across all departments to ensure a cohesive approach to content and messaging.
This role reports directly to the Director, Social Media and collaborates heavily with Integrated Marketing.
Note: East Coast roles require a minimum of three (3) in-office days per week (Tuesday to Thursday).
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for oversight of branded social content strategy, production, and execution
- Craft copy, design graphics, and edit video content to be posted across FOS social platforms (including X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) for partners
- Work directly with internal teams and external clients/vendors to manage feedback and approvals promptly
- Collaborate with Integrated Marketing to build and post-effective sponsored storytelling across FOS social platforms
- Work with the Director of Social Media to brainstorm new content series and franchises for partners
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance
- Communicate with internal teams to track KPIs and report on social media performance
- Stay updated on emerging social media platforms and technologies to keep our strategy innovative and relevant
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 3+ years of experience in social media strategy, preferably within sports or entertainment
- Proven ability to create engaging content and manage multiple social media platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools
- Experience working with and adapting to feedback from clients, partners, and internal teams
- Strong understanding of effective branded storytelling across social media platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage cross-functional projects
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and technologies
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the digital media landscape
