Copywriter Summary
The Copywriter is an integral part of FEATURE’s success, as they are responsible for helping manage all branded copy for our product description pages, website, email, push/sms notifications, editorial, + other various marketing channels. This position reports to the Content Manager and is aligned with FEATURE’s omni-channel strategy. The Copywriter is analytical, creative and can create written copy for both e-commerce + content platforms. This full-time position must have excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills. The FEATURE Copywriter can create on-brand yet compelling copy across all relevant FEATURE channels.
Time Allocation:
- 20% Product Descriptions
- 30% Newsletter Copy + Editorials
- 20% Social Media Captions
- 20% Asana Project Management
Responsibilities
- Writes all branded copy for website, including but not limited to product + brand descriptions, email, push/sms, newsletter + other various marketing channels
- Writes culturally relevant + SEO-researched blog posts to support organic search strategy
- Follows SEO best practices + research strategy in all copy
- Assists in ideating, planning + facilitating content creation, including writing creative briefs
- Interact cross-functionally with warehouse, creative, customer service, + e-commerce teams
- Research upcoming product launches + marketing campaigns to help build thoughtful content plans
- Coordinate publication of written content with the Content Manager
- Build KPI dashboards + reports weekly

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 2+ years experience in copywriting
- Background or interest in the footwear industry preferred
