Position Summary:
Sr. Research Analysts are key team members who support research projects, content development, and other member-facing initiatives that support our health system and industry member executives. This individual will help at each stage of the research process, ultimately synthesizing key takeaways derived from these member interactions into digestible, must-read content for our members, as well as help create larger-scale research deliverables including webinars and in-depth reports.Sr. Analysts are primarily responsible for developing deliverables (e.g., written reports, presentations, online content), insight generation, and supporting qualitative and quantitative research. This role will also work closely with the Member Insights Director and member organizations on the strategy and execution of custom webinars.
In this role, you will support the core products of our Strategy Catalyst business team: Guiding the path for health system transformation in site-of-care and ambulatory strategy. Purpose-built for strategy leaders and their team, Academy Strategy Catalyst makes sense of the market forces driving change, provides deep disruptor analysis, synthesizes outcomes from promising innovations, and gives strategy leaders resources to drive organizational alignment. Academy Strategy Catalyst is the strategy leader’s solution for de-risking investment and speeding time to decision.
Examples of past projects include surveying decision-makers to understand purchasing trends of health systems, creating content related to the COVID response for our member-facing newsletter, and quarterly webinars recapping the latest top-of-mind challenges and priorities for health system executives (e.g., growth strategy, digital transformation, organizational alignment, market intelligence, innovation & outcomes, etc.).
Primary Job Duties:
Participate in interviews with executives from health systems and industry organizations
Build qualitative and qualitative survey instruments and other data collection methodologies
Support analysis of qualitative and quantitative data collected from interviews, literature reviews, surveys, etc.
Synthesize, write, and present captivating research-based content (e.g., written deliverables and presentations) for member organizations and internal teams
Assist with logistics and events planning
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of healthcare experience in a research setting, or graduate degree in healthcare administration, health policy, health technology, business, or a related field
Subject matter expertise in health care systems, market intelligence, or market surveillance
Excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills, including the ability to synthesize key finds, translate data into insights, and create member-facing deliverables.
Strong writing and communication experience in healthcare
Project management experience, including efficient planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision or direction
Experience in client support and service delivery
Experience collaborating with commercial teams (e.g., marketing and sales) to develop product positioning and messaging

Compensation:
Starting salary of $80,000 and up plus benefits.
