The California Ambulatory Surgery Association (CASA) is dedicated to advancing the ambulatory surgery center industry by providing education, advocacy, and networking opportunities. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our association and drive strategic growth.
About the Role
As the Executive Director, you will work closely with the Board of Directors to shape policies, execute strategic initiatives, and oversee operations to ensure the success and financial stability of the association. This is a dynamic leadership role that requires strong management, advocacy, and financial planning skills to support our mission and serve our members effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue enhancement programs and sound fiscal policies.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, members, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders.
- Formulate and recommend policies and programs that align with the association’s objectives.
- Oversee independent contractor staff and ensure efficient program execution.
- Develop and manage an annual budget in coordination with the Board and Treasurer.
- Plan, organize, and execute major events, including the annual membership meeting and conference.
- Lead membership growth and retention efforts while fostering engagement.
- Advocate on behalf of the ambulatory surgery center industry with policymakers and the public.
- Serve as the executive publisher for CASA’s official newsletter and oversee communications.
Qualifications
- Professional graduate degree or license in business, healthcare administration, law, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of executive-level management or leadership experience.
- Knowledge of association management, financial oversight, and industry policies.
- Proven ability to develop revenue-generating programs and drive organizational success.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with digital tools and software relevant to association management.
