About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and innovative Content Marketing Manager to join our team as the first dedicated content hire. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of Pietra’s content strategy—from ideation to execution—across video, blog, social, email, and paid campaigns.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s voice, educating and inspiring our audience, and driving meaningful growth through content. If you’re equal parts storyteller, strategist, and hands-on creator—especially with video—this role was built for you.
What You’ll Do:
Content Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy across organic and paid channels
- Own the content calendar in partnership with the Head of Growth
- Drive traffic, engagement, and conversions through compelling and clear content
Video & Creative Production
- Be a visible face of Pietra—comfortable on camera in ads, founder interviews, and social content
- Write scripts, film videos, and either edit yourself or lead a lean editing process
- Create scroll-stopping content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta Ads
Written Content & Brand Storytelling
- Write blog posts, case studies, email campaigns, and landing page copy
- Maintain a consistent tone that’s clear, smart, human, and founder-first
- Develop content that celebrates our customers and builds trust with our community
Distribution & Analysis
- Publish and promote content across platforms to maximize reach
- Analyze performance data to optimize content and inform future strategy
- Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and leadership to align messaging
Who You Are:
- 3–5+ years of content marketing experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or a fast-moving startup
- Proven ability to own a content channel (e.g., blog, YouTube, Meta Ads, newsletter)
- Excellent writer with sharp instincts for brand voice, structure, and tone
- Comfortable on camera and familiar with end-to-end video production
- Creative and curious, with a portfolio that shows range and originality
- Strong collaborator, ready to work in person with the team in New York
