We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who is passionate about what they do, a great communicator, a talented copywriter, well organized, and efficient. This individual will be responsible for coordinating print publications, digital marketing, social media, website content, and other marketing materials for all events and initiatives. They must be able to bring to life in words, the vision and passion that defines the Children’s Diabetes Foundation.
Marketing Functions
- Create quarterly marketing strategies for email, social and print
- Create and execute omnichannel strategy aligned with Foundation goals
- Create all marketing materials to include copy writing and design
- Produce valuable and engaging content for CDF website and social media
- Administer multiple social media pages
- Implement accurate and timely website updates
- Monitor KPIs and create a dashboard to report progress to leadership
- Prepare ad hoc marketing requests
- Collaborate with PR companies to plan event strategies and create marketing material
- Schedule and coordinate photo shoots and video shoots
Event Support
- Create marketing plans specific to CDF’s major events
- Generate copy, graphics, invitations, ads, sponsorship packets, and other marketing materials, to support CDF events; In both digital and print formats as necessary
- Write scripts as necessary for designated events
- Design and create printed program books
- Coordinate with producers, staff, and publicists to ensure each person has the necessary information
- Manage relationships with print company, photographers, videographers, and PR companies
- Ensure foundation event websites are current with all info including statistics, images, content, sponsors, and event information
- Promote events internally via newsletter, social media, email, and other avenues as necessary
- Work with partners to promote events and programs externally
Qualifications
- 5 years SEO experience
- 5 years digital and print marketing experience
- 3 years social media marketing experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field required
- Experience creating an omnichannel marketing strategy and executing a quarter at a time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of delivering on commitments in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with others at all organizational levels
- High level of professionalism and poise
- Proven track record of delivering compelling, highly accurate, and articulate work
Benefits
This position is full time, 40 hours/week Monday through Friday with periodic evenings and weekends. Work location: Aurora, CO
