Job Title: Internal Communications & Media Relations Specialist
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Hours: Average of 40 hrs/wk, Monday - Friday, with flexibility to work outside of traditional office hours as needed
Salary: $52,000 - $57,000

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week on-site at our headquarters in Centennial, CO.

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Internal Communications & Media Relations Specialist to support corporate communication initiatives and enhance Briotix Health’s brand presence. This role will be responsible for executing internal and external communication strategies, securing media opportunities, and positioning our subject-matter experts as industry thought leaders. The three tiers of focus for the Internal Communications & Medica Relations Specialist position include: Corporate Communications & Internal Engagement, Media Relations & Thought Leadership, and Executive & Subject-Matter Expert Visibility.

Job Duties
- Assist in developing and executing an internal communications strategy that fosters employee engagement and company culture.
- Create and distribute content for internal newsletters, the Briotian News, and company-wide announcements.
- Manage internal communication channels, including intranet, email campaigns, and virtual town halls.
- Support HR and leadership in developing messaging for employee engagement initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, industry influencers, and media outlets.
- Identify and secure media opportunities, including interviews, bylines, and feature stories.
- Assist in developing and pitching compelling story ideas to trade, business, and mainstream media.
- Draft press releases, media kits, and talking points for executives and subject-matter experts.
- Track media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Research and identify speaking engagements, panel discussions, and conference opportunities for Briotix Health experts.
- Assist in developing presentation materials, key messages, and media training for executives and subject-matter experts.
- Support thought leadership content creation, including blog posts, articles, and white papers.
- Maintain personal responsibility to adhere to all company policies, practices, and government regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media relations.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Experience working with media, securing press coverage, and drafting press materials is a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools, internal communication platforms, and media monitoring software
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media relations.
- Intermediate or advanced skill with digital communication tools, internal communication platforms, and media monitoring software.
