Exciting Opportunity: Acquisitions Associate
Location: Washington, D.C. / Maryland
CORY is hiring for an experienced Acquisitions Associate who will play a critical role in expanding our client's portfolio. The Acquisitions Associate will identify, evaluate, and secure opportunities to grow their network of innovative spaces.
About Our Client:
Our client is an innovative real estate firm managing a national tenant-based space network to support small businesses. They are expanding nationwide and looking for talented industry leaders to join their growing team!
Your Responsibilities as a Leader:
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify potential acquisition opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through outreach, partnerships, and research.
- Support negotiations, manage contracts, and assist in the deal-closing process.
- Prepare and present reports and analyses to key stakeholders.
- Develop and nurture connections with brokers, property owners, and industry professionals.
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and underwriting for new acquisitions.
- Participate in regular meetings with the executive team to present, discuss, and evaluate market opportunities.
- Perform comprehensive financial modeling and underwriting for new acquisition opportunities.
The Skills & Experience You Possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in real estate investment and/or acquisitions.
- Expertise in analyzing financial statements, property valuations, and key investment metrics such as ROI, IRR, and cap rates
- Capable of interpreting large data sets and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced Argus, MS Excel, Outlook, and Internet research skills.
