Why Origami Agents?
We build and deploy AI research agents that gather context for companies doing B2B sales in the same way their human sales reps would do. These agents are self-learning, fully automated, and scalable.
We serve some of the largest and most exciting companies across technology, healthcare, and manufacturing, from startups to enterprise.
We’ve scaled from 0 → $500k ARR in our first 2 months as the fastest growing company in our batch.
The Role
- You will be the right hand to the CEO, enabling them to focus on scaling the business by managing key AI projects, business operations, and serving as a liaison between departments
- Growth: helping refine our growth funnel, conversions, and sales call support
- We sell to startups, F500s, agencies, big consulting firms, and more.
- Account management: making sure our customers stay happy during and after onboarding.
Responsibilities
We are hiring a Chief of Staff who has an owner mentality, can wear many hats, and
has some interest in or passion for AI agents and sales.
As the Chief of Staff, you will work directly with the CEO on many strategic initiatives across product, sales, marketing, finance, customer support, and operations. You’ll be handling multiple cross-functional tasks and are a jack of all trades. No task is above or beneath you - you’ll be involved in making strategic decisions and will also need to be scrappy when necessary.
Some Responsibilities You’ll Take On
- You’ll be handed problems that will require talking to customers, researching competition, running experiments, pulling data, etc. You should have the ability to take on ambiguous tasks, do research, come up with proposals, and execute on solutions. Some examples include exploring new GTM channels, setting up data analytics channels, managing partnerships, creating co-marketing materials, and putting together investor pitch decks, etc.
- Executing and streamlining internal operations, including internal agent building, newsletter engagement, planning team events, helping the founder validate business verticals, customer support, etc.
Who’s a good fit?
We think you should apply if the following sounds like you:
- Resourceful – You’ve been known to get a lot done with very little, whether it is time, money or compute
- Resilient – You don’t quit when something is difficult, only when you have realized a better way to do it
- Decisive – You can make informed decisions under stress with incomplete data, and move on to the next task (no hedging)
- L̶i̶k̶e̶ Love difficult problems – You like working at puzzles, chess or anything that you’re not immediately good at
- Fun – You can smile/joke/enjoy yourself through the pain and the slog, and can lift up others even when things are objectively not going well
Must haves
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate
- US work permit (we do not currently sponsor H1-Bs; OPTs are fine)
- 1+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or operations roles
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take initiative
Why should I join?
- You’ll be part of our founding team, and will have the opportunity for massive growth and leadership as we build out our teams that you’ll work between.
- Complete agency. Flat structure with no bureaucracy, working directly with the founders.
- Job security at fast growing startup: we’re profitable and self sustaining
