MIND CHICAGO is...
A community that celebrates collaboration, growth, and joy! As we expand, we are seeking skilled clinicians passionate about contextual and behavioral therapy for kids and families.
A fee-for-service group therapy practice, not contracted with insurance companies. This allows us to offer higher compensation, lower caseloads, and client-centered treatment plans free from insurance restrictions.
An antiracist, anti-oppressive, and social justice-oriented practice. We are seeking clinicians who hold related values and are willing to expand upon them humbly.
A team that is invested in the well-being of parents and caregivers. Our clinicians hold deep compassion for the complexities of parenting/caregiving, are eager to contact and work with parents and understand the flexibility needed to work with family systems.
A group of people with a shared mission — to provide treatment that works — based on individual values, context, and backgrounds.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for two clinicians with meaningful training and experience in one or more of the following contextual and behavioral therapies: DBT, ERP, PCIT, and/or PMT. Mind Chicago clinicians specialize in working with children 2-15 years old and their parents - but we love kids of all ages! We are looking for clinicians who are confident and experienced in working with parents and find young kids a joy!
- Illinois-licensed LCPC, LCSW, PsyD, PhD with at least 3 years of post-graduate therapy experience preferred.
- Illinois-licensed LPCs and LSWs with 5+ years of post-graduate therapy experience will be considered.
These are full-time, W-2, hybrid positions requiring at least 3 days a week of in-person sessions at our Ravenswood location.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND SUPPORT, OH MY!
Mind Chicago is known for its thoughtful onboarding and training process for first-year clinicians (one of the reasons we were voted Best of Chicago’s Best Place to Work in 2023!). All clinicians receive weekly supervision/consultation for their first six months and access to structured, ongoing consultation afterward. We also offer several weekly group consultations to connect with your colleagues and get the support you need! We host annual team training from outside speakers to book clubs focused on contextual behavioral therapies and inclusive practices. Should you be interested in becoming a certified PCIT therapist, let us know!

APPLlCATION PROCESS
We use a multi-step application process so potential clinicians and the Mind Chicago team really get to know one another! Don’t worry - this process moves VERY quickly - typically within a week (two at the most). We are so excited to meet you!
Step 1:
- Email your resume/CV to hello@mindchicago.com. Please include your pronouns in your email or resume/CV.
- Complete the Pediatric Therapist Survey - located on our website at www.mindchicago.com/join-our-team OR go directly to the survey at https://forms.gle/mbhc93JzCUTXtFH46
- Provide the email and phone number of two references on your resume/CV. One must be a supervisor/manager. We will not call references without notifying you first.
*Due to many resumes/CVs, we only reply to candidates that meet the needs of a current open position.
Step 2:
- If your qualifications meet our current needs, we’ll contact you to schedule a brief 15-20-minute phone call with one of the practice owners.
Step 3:
- If you move on to step 3, you will join us for an in-person office visit and a brief, light demonstration of therapy skills (ex, role-play a call with parents, teach a DBT skill, etc.) - How fun!!! This is an opportunity to feel out the office, get to know us a little better, and show off what you’re good at ;) Coffee/tea provided!
