Job Title: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

DESCRIPTION:
As a key member of the Old St. Patrick’s Staff Team, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator executes on the parish strategy to represent Old St. Pat’s to both internal and external audiences, grow engagement and deepen affinity.
The Coordinator will work on projects as assigned by the Director and collaborate with staff across the organization. There will be collaboration with external partner vendors (freelance, printers, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee/Organize weekly content, design and productionfor the major Parish major communication vehicles, printed bulletin and e-newsletter, as well as print ads, email campaigns, social, video, etc.
- Weekly & future solicitation of internal Depts for content + intake for external sources of communications.
- Manage workflow, turnaround time and ensure on time delivery of assigned projects.
- Partner with external freelance and vendors in the creation and development of content.
- Maintain records and shared drives.
- Use Asana and/or other software toolsto track projects
- Track KPIs for engagement and outreach.
- Recommend enhancements to communication vehicles and outreach.
By the end of 2025, assist in the development of social media, video and email strategies/tactics. Grow overall brand presence through implementation of timely execution, aligned with these strategies.
In partnership with the Marketing Director, track KPIs for marketing and communications. Update in organizational KPIs and make recommendations on ways to improve campaign and outreach based on KPIs.
MISCELLANEOUS COMMUNICATIONS & OTHER DUTIES
Graphic design: Ability to support graphic design needs of the organization including Canva or Adobe.
- Create/maintain Marketing calendar creation identifying existing major and other supporting key activities
- Participate in events and activities as needed. This could include Sunday events as well as other major liturgical or revenue initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong project management and interpersonal skills - proactive, approachable and problem-solver. Ability to solve issues quickly through open dialogue.
- Strategic thinking; creative and forward thinker, excellent writing, editing, some design ability; Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and campaigns with competing deadlines
- Adept using the following programs, for campaign design and execution: Canva, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite (including video), Google Office Suite, & Microsoft Office Suite
- Must demonstrate understanding, respect and support for both Old St. Pat’s and Catholic Church mission and values.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications or a related field
Experience:
- 2-5 years experience in marketing, communications or public relations and
across multiple channels (focus on email/CRM, print, video and digital/social)
- Nonprofit, education or faith-based experience preferred.
