E-Commerce and Brand Growth Director- Fashion/Cosmetics
Location: Miami, FL
Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (3 days in the office/2 remote)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: $175K- $180K + 10% bonus
Our client is a European clothing company established over 35 years ago with a US office based in Miami, Florida. They are looking for an experienced and visionary e-commerce marketer to lead the e-commerce departments and marketing, driving strategic and operational efforts. This individual will own the P&L, optimize performance across digital channels, and build a sales-focused mindset within the team.
This position requires a combination of strong leadership, strategic thinking, financial management, digital expertise, and the ability to drive brand and sales growth across multiple digital channels.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 + years of proven experience managing e-commerce solutions, website management, and development of marketing strategies.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience effectively managing a team.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience with visual digital design.
- Background in sales is preferred.
- MUST have a minimum of 7 years experience in the fashion or cosmetic industry, such as clothing, ready-to-wear, apparel and /or cosmetics.
- Proven experience in owning and managing the P&L, optimizing budgets, and pushing performance boundaries.
- Ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation across digital and e-commerce channels.
- Strong analytical skills to track, analyze, and optimize performance across various marketing channels (e.g., ROI, KPIs).
- Highly skilled in communicating results and key learnings with senior management
- Strong conceptual thinking.
- Have a firm knowledge of software and new technologies.
- Be able to handle projects from concept to completion to production for a wide variety of collateral.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and flexible.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Marketing & E-commerce Department. This is a strategic role for both departments
- Own the P&L and aim to stretch the performance boundaries of what is possible at a given budget.
- Build a sales mindset within both departments. This role is constantly challenging the status quo and looking for potential to increase sales or save costs in all areas contributing to the e-commerce & digital P& L
- Spearheading the overall e-commerce, brand, and marketing direction for the company.
- Focus on brand growth, enhance brand equity, and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Serve as a visionary leader to deliver on the brand’s promise and objectives.
- Produce long-term brand development and positioning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, sales, and customer service to align marketing efforts with our business goals.
- Stay up to date with the latest e-commerce technology, tools, and trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Define, operate, and control an overarching digital & e-commerce strategy within the following areas: Performance Marketing, SEO, Analytics, Newsletter Marketing, Promotion & Activation, Onsite CR optimization & Onsite Merchandising, Product content, Marketplaces
