- Audience Segmentation: Work with data teams to segment the email list based on relevant customer data (e.g., behavior, demographics) to ensure personalized content that drives higher engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, product, and marketing teams to collect assets, review materials, and manage feedback cycles, ensuring quality and accuracy before sending.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze key email metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify ways to enhance workflows, streamline communication, and stay ahead of email marketing trends.
- Leadership: Lead a small team through each campaign, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed with attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in email marketing, with hands-on experience managing large-scale campaigns.
- Skills: Email Tools: Proficiency in email platforms like Marketo (or similar) for building, customizing, and sending templated emails.
- Content Creation: Strong writing skills with experience in creating engaging, customer-facing content, including subject lines, copy, and CTAs.
- Segmentation & Analysis: Ability to segment audiences effectively and analyze campaign performance data to refine strategies.
- Project Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping everything on track.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across teams and presenting campaign results to stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with high-volume email marketing programs.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and email optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of email best practices, deliverability, and analytics tools.
Work Environment:
- Location: This is an in-office role based in Seattle, requiring a full-time, on-site commitment.
- Hours: Full-time with occasional flexible hours as needed for specific campaign deadlines.
