Job Description
Under immediate supervision, the 9924 Public Service Aide will support health care services by organizing documents, preparing data reports, assisting with logistical support for staff and events, and engaging in community and equity-related initiatives.
Examples of essential duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Conduct literature reviews and analyze case studies on effective community engagement and health disparity reduction practices.
Design community events to share data with priority populations, develop bi-directional communication strategies, and manage surveys, outreach, and data analysis.
Support meeting coordination, curriculum design, and interview preparation.
Assist with health and racial equity training, community partnerships, and presentation delivery.
Help coordinate Equity Learning Series, develop educational materials, and create discussion guides.
Compile resources on social determinants, health equity, and health disparities.
Assist with updates on the OHE webpage, newsletter, and equity-focused communications.
Contribute to policy development, workplan creation, and related procedures.
Facilitate communication with equity stakeholders and leadership.
Explore community engagement strategies, including social media use.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to provide updates on equity efforts.
Attend health-related meetings and present on equity initiatives as needed.
Utilize MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
The 9924 Public Service Aide performs other related duties as assigned/required.
