JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator supports the Sales, Marketing and Management Department by performing administrative, research, writing, and scheduling tasks as well as continuing to support important relationships with directors, advertising agencies, etc. This person will also perform additional duties as assigned, including help with Social Media, PR, and Awards/Festivals. Candidates should be prepared to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet project deadlines and business demands.
The role requires a very organized digitally savvy person who possesses a passion for film, music, visual arts, and larger creative culture. This role requires awareness of advertising, digital marketing, social media and popular culture trends, motion and animation trends, fine art, and the world of filmmaking. This job requires a high level of detail, organization, assertiveness, excellent communication skills, design sensibility, an appetite for digital content, and the ability to thrive in the fast-paced and ever-changing world of advertising and production.

- Minimum 18 months of experience in an administrative or assistant role in advertising, PR, film, marketing, etc.

- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
SAMPLE OF RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain sales leads and companywide project tracker
- Maintain client list
- Extensive research on clients, trends, and marketplace
- Manage department calendar including but not limited to meetings, screenings, and air dates of upcoming work
- Create director reels
- Manage and distribute weekly internal newsletter and assist in the creation of quarterly company newsletters
- Coordinate client gifts
- Coordinate department travel
- Compile and distribute monthly and EOY sales report
- Plan and organize client screenings
- Track upcoming advertising award shows and film festivals
- Organizing and submit awards applications
- Coordinate with social media strategy and management team (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Create PR packets for press-worthy work and distribute to trades
- Monitor and track press on directors and SMUGGLER produced work
- Update and maintain director bios, press kits and blurbs
- Review and evaluate new director inquiries
- Attend industry related events
