Venus House PLLC is a therapy practice owned by Laura Domanico, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC). Venus House holds all different groups and workshops for young adults and is currently looking for a hybrid, part-time intern to start this Fall. Hours are very flexible and can be discussed further at the time of the interview!
Responsibilities:
- Help prepare for vendor market events where Venus House will be attending as a way of promoting the practice. This includes creating and gathering materials such as email sign up sheets, promotional social media posts, etc
- If possible- attending the vendor market events to help with setting up. All events are in the Boston area. This is not a requirement- it is an opportunity if there is an interest in attending events
- Assist with social media tasks, ie: updating the website, posting on Instagram & Youtube
- Other administrative tasks- such as finding events that Venus House can apply to for promotion or networking; finding other businesses to collaborate with; creating a weekly newsletter, etc
Qualifications:
- 18+
- Has transportation (car or ability to take the train)
- Please provide 1-2 recommendation letters from school
Specifications:
- Ideally looking for someone to start November 2024
- Hybrid: some remote hours and some hours at the Venus House location at 16 Cohasset St in Boston
- Hours: between 7-10 hours per week
Interns will have weekly one-on-one sessions with Laura to address any questions. Laura is happy to provide recommendations for future jobs or college applications based on performance. Ideal candidates are those with an interest in both entrepreneurship and mental health.
