Cherry Bombe is a media company celebrating women & cool creatives in the world of food & drink. Founded in 2013 as a print-only magazine, Cherry Bombe has since expanded to include events, podcasting, and social media. Our mission from day one has been to support women in the industry by shining a spotlight on them, sharing their stories, and bringing them together in person and virtually.
We are seeking a full-time Manager, Partnerships & Events to support the Cherry Bombe Partnerships team. This role will be responsible for the creation of partner proposals and media plans, post-sale execution of integrated advertising campaigns, and management of events. You’ll play a pivotal role in our growing business, coming up with ideas to grow partnerships revenue, ensuring client satisfaction and retention, and serving as a project manager to keep track of deadlines with both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description:
- The Manager, Partnerships & Events will develop proposals and sales materials for integrated media, custom content and event sponsorship programs built in partnership with our advertising clients. Platforms include print, podcast, social, newsletter, custom content & events.
- This role will function as the owner of the post-sale activation and execution of campaigns and will lead the campaign workflow with team members in Sales, Marketing, Editorial, Design, Podcast, Social, Newsletter, and Events.
- You’ll work closely with internal teams and advertising clients to ensure the success of each campaign. This includes communicating with clients, delivering timelines, and presenting campaign results against client KPIs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide day-to-day management to plan, coordinate, and implement custom advertiser campaigns ranging from standard media campaigns (digital and print), to custom co-branded content and/or event sponsorship programs
- Own the advertising client partner’s transition from pre-sale to post-sale, including creating partner documents such as program overview decks and timelines, scheduling & leading calls with clients, and creating and briefing the internal team on responsibilities and timing
- Lead both client and internal communication for all assigned advertising programs, working closely with other Cherry Bombe team members to ensure all sponsor deliverables are fully executed
- Facilitate smooth creative process, maintain campaign timelines, manage client feedback, traffic client assets, and ensure approval prior to launch
- Closely monitor campaign performance to summarize, analyze, and share results throughout campaigns both internally and with partners; provide detailed reporting and recommendations to all internal and external teams
- Produce all wrap reports after a sponsorship has been completed; Ensure these are approved and delivered to sponsor in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities, upsell additional services to existing clients, and contribute to the development of sales strategies and proposals
- Support the planning, logistics, and execution of events, including Jubilee, custom events, member events, and industry events. Lead partner activation planning for Cherry Bombe events.
- Support revenue tracking processes including keeping our CRM and pipeline updated
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience managing media campaigns for a publisher or media brand in a client-facing role
- 3+ years producing and managing events
- Understanding of the media landscape, activations and execution; experience with custom branded content, social media, event sponsorships and print
- Ability to to communicate effectively with advertising client partners, internal team and partners to activate and execute successful campaigns
