Description
The
Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in growing Front Office Sports' advertising business. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Enablement, your responsibilities will be two-pronged. First, you will support and collaborate with the larger revenue team by Prospecting; Connecting with; Qualifying; and Transitioning revenue opportunities (across the biggest brands in the US) at scale through proactive efforts. Second, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and closing business opportunities surrounding our Newsletter, B2B Thought Leadership solution, and Future Of Sports virtual events offerings.

Key Responsibilities
- Outreach to potential advertisers through cold email, LinkedIn messaging, attending industry events, and other methods.
- Qualify revenue opportunities to ensure advertisers are a good fit for FOS' products and services.
- Advance qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline by transitioning accounts to the Brand Partnerships team, while ensuring a smooth buying experience for prospects.
- Collaborate with the Brand Partnerships team to ensure strategic prospecting and effective outreach.
- Maintain organized records of research, prospecting, and sales activities with prospects and customers in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- East Coast roles will be required to be in-office (NYC) minimum of three (3) days per week (Tues - Thurs).

- Excellent time management skills to keep numerous active sales conversations organized at once
- Ability to identify the KPIs of an advertiser and align them with the respective FOS offering(s)
- Strong relationship builder with both internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ambitious, resilient, and driven – this candidate should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for sports and media is strongly preferred
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 1+ year of experience in a sales function, or an advertising/media-related role
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn sales tools such as Boostr (CRM), Apollo.io, SellerCrowd, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and SponsorUnited
- Passion for FOS's mission and our content
- Startup experience preferred
