MikMak is looking for an amazing part-time Editorial & Events Coordinator to support its Marketing Team. This is an incredible opportunity to learn the ins and outs of event and content marketing in a B2B environment. This role reports into our Director, Events & Podcast Marketing. Ideal candidate has 1-2 years of prior work experience in sales or marketing. If you have a passion for digital marketing and eCommerce, that's a plus. To be successful in this role, you're extremely detail oriented, a fast learner and a strong written, verbal and visual communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director, Events & Podcast Marketing to develop playbooks for key events, speaking opportunities and sponsorships including but not limited to:
- Digital Food Bev (US and EU)
- Shoptalk (US and EU)
- Groceryshop
- And many more
- Coordinate B2B event logistics with the potential to attend and represent MikMak on-site
- Research and catalog events to add to MikMak's marketing plan
- Develop outreach lists and messaging for events
- Audit post-event data to qualify and import leads
- Coordinate and audit post-event follow-ups
- Develop event related assets such as marketing emails, landing pages, and social posts
- Draft event and podcast related blog posts and other written content
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed
- Create social assets related to BRAVE COMMERCE
- Manage and maintain the BRAVE COMMERCE forward schedule
- Support the distribution of content across multiple platforms, including our website, LinkedIn, and newsletter, to drive community engagement
- Lead logistical efforts for webinars as the bridge between events and content marketing including booking guest speakers, scheduling prep calls, ensuring that all calendar invites and details are up to date.
- Stay informed about our top 30 customers, monitor their progress, and actively brainstorm strategies to strengthen our relationships with them
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to assist in Marketing team initiatives
Requirements:
- Administration or sales and marketing assistant experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an especial enthusiasm for B2B marketing writing
- Scrappy with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Competency in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Salesforce - bonus points for HubSpot
- Great organization skills
- Related job and/or internship experience
- Digital marketing experience
Who You Are

- Effective written, verbal and visual communication skills
- Competency in G-Suite and Salesforce - bonus points for HubSpot
- Highly organized and attentive to detail - you color coded your binder when in school
- Humble, hungry and empathetic
- Available 20 - 30 hrs/ week between 9 am - 6 pm ET
