As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a driven Sales Associate to help us grow our advertising partnerships and scale our business.
About the Role:
As an Advertising Sales Associate, your focus will be on generating leads and securing advertising partnerships for Moby’s newsletter and social media channels. You’ll be responsible for identifying potential brands and advertisers, reaching out to cold and warm leads, and supporting our senior sales team in closing larger deals. Additionally, you’ll assist with sales materials, pitch decks, and CRM management. While the primary goal is to secure ad space deals, you’ll also have the opportunity to close smaller advertising deals yourself.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation for Ad Space Sales: Research and identify brands that could benefit from advertising in Moby’s newsletter and social channels.
- Outreach: Conduct cold and warm outreach through email and social media, qualifying potential advertisers for our ad inventory.
- Sales Support: Assist the senior sales team by preparing pitch decks, proposals, and materials to secure high-value advertising partnerships.
- CRM & Data Management: Keep detailed records of outreach, leads, and sales in our CRM system.
- Close Smaller Deals: Manage and close smaller ad space deals while passing larger leads to the senior sales team.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably with a focus on advertising, digital media, or lead generation.
- Strong research, communication, and CRM skills.
- Confidence in engaging potential clients through email and social media outreach.
- Experience with sales tools like Excel and CRM platforms.
Pay range and compensation package:
Base Salary: $50,000 to $80,000 + commission.
