We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Engagement Specialist to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing engagement within our community platforms, identifying audience feedback trends, and creating strategic recommendations to enhance our community experience. Additionally, this role involves crafting a weekly community newsletter for our members and listening to weekly podcasts and webinars to identify deeper topic opportunities.

- Community Management: Monitor and manage engagement on our community platforms and groups.
- Experience Innovation: Develop strategic recommendations to improve community experience and engagement based on feedback analysis.
- Event Participation: Attend workshops, listen to podcast episodes, and other company events to take detailed notes on future topic opportunities.
- Content Creation: Transform event notes into engaging newsletters, strategies, and other content ideas to foster community engagement.
- Content Planning: Maintain and update a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, brand goals, and target audience interests.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging and to support company-wide campaigns.
- Content Approval: Coordinate with higher-ups and stakeholders for content review and approval when necessary.
- Resource Management: Keep track of assets like images, videos, and other content used in marketing campaigns.
- Engagement Strategy: Implement strategies to increase engagement rates and overall audience interaction.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and report on key community metrics, including engagement rates, feedback trends, and content performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Industry experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience in community management/engagement or a similar role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience with content creation, including newsletters and community engagement content.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality content.
- Ability to attend events, workshops, and podcast recordings.
- Proficiency with content management systems and social media platforms.
