Melba Culp LLC is looking for an Artist Management Intern to assist in the day-to-day operations of Melba Culp. As an independent organization, these activities can relate to distribution, publishing, merchandising, audio/video production, management, marketing, publicity, partnerships and live events. The internship is unpaid and has the opportunity to turn into a paid position. There may be opportunities to collect commissions during the internship. This position is ideal for someone with some level of experience in the music industry.
Position will begin immediately and cease upon a mutually agreed upon date unless extended. Number of hours worked per week will vary. Looking for an individual who is able to responsibly delegate their time.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of Melba Culp during a portion of or the entirety of the album cycle for A Darkened Rose.
- May include radio promotions, newsletter promotions, monitoring analytics, press communications, audio/video production, ad creation/optimization, booking, creative strategy, seeking partnerships, budgeting, pitching, researching potential partners, troubleshooting, coordinating physical distribution, updating databases, growth strategy, compliance, building relationships, marketing coordination, hiring, etc...
Required Qualifications
- Some level of experience or coursework in the music industry
- A reliable internet connection
- Motivated and creative individual
- Some level of understanding of the hard rock/heavy metal genre and their fanbases
- Willingness and ability to learn at a fast pace
- Ambition and drive to achieve goals in a challenging environment
- Excellent communication skills

- Experience with a record label, artist management company, concert promoter, music publishing company, etc...
- Based in Austin, Nashville, Los Angeles or New York
- Valid Passport
