Overview
Data Science Salon and Formulatedby are seeking a talented and versatile Full-Stack Graphic Designer and Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. This role combines creative design with technical web development, offering an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating skills in graphic design, brand identity, and WordPress development.
Responsibilities
- Graphic Design: Create engaging graphics and layouts for digital and print media. Utilize industry-standard design software to craft visually compelling content that aligns with brand guidelines.
- WordPress/Website Development: Develop and maintain websites using WordPress. Handle both front-end and back-end aspects, ensuring functional excellence and aesthetic appeal.
- Web Properties Management: Oversee the design, functionality, and maintenance of web properties. Regularly update content, ensure security measures, and optimize for performance.
- Branding: Develop and maintain brand identity elements, including logos, brand books, and web designs. Ensure consistent application of the brand across all platforms.
- Collateral Design and Maintenance: Produce and update a variety of marketing materials, such as social media graphics, trade show booth designs, custom proposals, presentations, and sponsorship decks.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest trends in graphic design and WordPress. Continuously learn and apply new techniques and tools to keep our brand at the forefront of design and technology.
- Project Management: Plan and manage design and development projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Initiative and Leadership: Drive projects with initiative and creativity. Lead project teams towards successful completion while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Innovation and Creativity: Continuously generate and implement new ideas to enhance design and development practices. Embrace experimental approaches and think outside the box.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, or related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design and front-end web development.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress.
- Strong understanding of branding, layout, color theory, and typography.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant work.

Hours + Compensation
10-20 hours/week to start.
$25-50/hour depending on experience.
