How You'll Make An Impact
Provides critical back-up support for department's growing internet/intranet capabilities. Provides back-up support to Webmaster. Handles e-mail inquiries received through the "Contact Us" feature on the site. Handle updates to the conferences and events calendar and assists with content additions/updates and edits. Prepares new design and content, assists with writing, editing, trouble-shooting and debugging during the development and launch of new and existing websites. Monitors news throughout the organization. Writes up pertinent news items and posts them on the corporate news page and updates twice a week. Acts as assistant editor for various company publications, writes articles, handles all listings, assists with photography, editing and proofreading and handles distribution. Provides writing/editing/PR assistance, as needed, to other corporate departments and various divisions and offices throughout the company. Monitors/covers some of the various internal and external meetings held at headquarters for write-ups in corporate publications. Works with Communications Specialist Senior/Webmaster to produce monthly electronic newsletter for corporate employees. Assists with physical and electronic archiving of old corporate photos, documents and publications. Handles distribution for annual report and state of the company video. Assists in implementing internal communications strategies, working closely with communication/marketing strategy team.
About You
Required: Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required.
Preferred: Degree major in English, Journalism or Communications preferred.
Behaviors: Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Strong creative and interpersonal skills. Well organized and able to effectively multi-task. Manages projects independently and meets deadlines.
