NOTE: This position is full-time IN PERSON. You will have to be based in the New York area.
About the role: A leading fertility center in NYC is seeking an experienced Content Editor whose main responsibility will be the production of the center’s monthly electronic/physical newsletter/magazine, as well as responsible for filming, editing, and posting our YouTube videos and Podcasts.
They will become part of the center’s marketing and communication team and will work directly with the center's physicians and research scientists in communicating the center’s research and beliefs.

80% Project Management (The Clinics monthly/bi-monthly magazine publication (The VOICE (Magazine) / Reproductive Times (blogsite))
You will be responsible for managing our monthly/bimonthly publications of our magazine while updating our blog news site, The Reproductive Times website as articles are finished. Both the VOICE and The Reproductive Times use primarily the same articles (roughly 80% overlap) with some minor editing done to adjust for the audience.
- Work with our Medical Director/Editor-and-Chief edit ~70 - 100 pages per issue.
- Design the magazine adhering to the strict formatting guidelines used in previous issues ensuring consistency
- Reach out to potential advertisers and sell ad space (full page, half page, quarter page, etc.)
- Switch over our current website from Squarespace to Substack
- Potentially, write articles around topics in reproductive field (current affairs, science-based, or the basics about reproductive health)
20% Video/Audio Production
You will also be responsible for leading the content creation of long-form content such as YouTube videos and podcast episodes for the Center for Human Reproduction. The rest of the marketing will be available to help you create content ideas, film, and assist in connecting with potential guests.
- Record our Doctors and Scientist discussing important revelations and topics in the fertility field
- Handle all postproduction, editing, thumbnail design, description, titles, etc.
- Create and publish podcast and YouTube videos to CHR channels
- Brainstorm ideas and content for new videos/podcast
