Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and elevate our brand presence in the local community. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, retention, and overall engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field marketing, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep love for dogs. The Marketing Manager will report to the CEO and will be a key member of the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive field marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive lead generation, conversion and pet parent engagement. Lead the monthly marketing calendar creation and communication.
- Content Creation: Lead the development and implementation of marketing materials, including brochures, social media content, email outreach, and promotional campaigns tailored to our target audience. Work with selected agency to create effective marketing campaigns that drive a strong ROI. Lead the development of the monthly newsletter, daycare blogs and daycare social media posts.
- Digital Advertising & Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic and conversions. Conduct A/B testing to refine ad performance, targeting, and creative strategy.
- Team Leadership: work directly with field operations to ensure flawless execution of marketing initiatives and leads management. Manage the effectiveness of the call center and monitor results.
· New Unit Openings and Acquisitions: develop effective marketing plans designed to accelerate revenue ramp and pet parent acquisition/retention. Lead founders offer strategy and execution. Provide on the ground support for new unit openings.
· Community Engagement: Build relationships with local pet-related businesses, organizations, and community groups to promote our services and foster partnerships. Elevate the work of the Dogtopia Foundation and include employees in its volunteer and fundraising efforts. Plan, organize, and execute community events, promotions, and educational seminars that showcase our services.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our services. Lead efforts to maximize customer lifetime spend including expanding service offerings and ensuring effective pricing structure.
· Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Monitor and analyze campaign data to optimize Customer Acquisition Cost.
- Performance Metrics: Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports to leadership team and adjusting strategies as needed. Drive lead management system and effectiveness of lead conversion efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in field marketing, digital advertising, or growth marketing, preferably in the pet, retail, or service industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and marketing analytics tools.
- Strong expertise in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and A/B testing for campaign optimization.
- Experience with CRM, content creation, email marketing, and local event promotions.
- Full understanding of Google advertising and analytics.
- Proficiency in Canva (or similar design tools) for creating marketing assets.
- Experience with Wordpress.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for dogs and understanding of pet owner needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
