As Deputy Program Manager, you’ll act as the second-in-command to the Program Manager, supporting them in all aspects of project execution by managing day-to-day operations, overseeing tasks, coordinating teams, resolving issues, and ensuring project goals are met, essentially stepping in to lead when the PM is unavailable. Additionally, the DPM will often handle administrative duties, reporting, and communication with stakeholders while maintaining alignment with the overall program strategy.

What you’ll do:
- You will consult with the customer to ensure conformity to project and contractual obligations for, but not limited to, IT projects/initiatives.
- You will approve documentation standards, system specifications, feasibility and justification reports, and policy recommendations.
- You will supervise the development and installation of techniques and procedures to implement policy decisions regarding organizational structures, program evaluation and productivity improvements.
- You will establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show the progress of projects to management and customers.
- You will organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates and supervise the successful completion of all assigned IT tasks.
- You will ensure the development, maintenance and implementation of Program Management Plans and Technical Specifications Plan; documents that guide the performance of all functional and technical activities performed.
- You will ensure that maximum service is obtained from all operations through efficient use of personnel and equipment.
- You will plan and manage diverse and highly technical projects.
- You will be responsible for leading and performing IT training of line personnel on the project approach, techniques, software, hardware, etc.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; OR relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 5 Years experience leading DoD programs
- 2-5 years of Experience with Air Force Clients
- 2-5 Years experience managing or working with Federal Cloud contracts
- PMP, or PgMP certification (Or equivalent)
