Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated full-time E-commerce Manager who is analytical, team-oriented, and a strong communicator. The ideal candidate has experience managing e-commerce and marketing channels, analyzing performance to surface insights, and contributing to revenue growth. They are eager to tackle challenging problems, highly adaptable, excited to learn, and eager to impact every part of the organization by managing and improving our e-commerce site (our most important storefront) and optimizing our growth and retention marketing channels. You will bring your past experiences to the role and use your unique perspective to help us think creatively about the biggest challenges and opportunities facing our company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day management of our e-commerce site, including the homepage, top navigation, product, and collection pages.
- Ensure the quality of web content, and that the deployment of new content is timely and accurate, systematically QAing it.
- Work with cross functional teams to maximize the customer experience online, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
- Liaise closely with Creative, Buying, and Inventory teams to create and maintain the daily online product upload schedule and corresponding newsletter schedule based on deliveries.
- Ensure that product copy and assets for all scheduled items to be published, along with accompanying newsletters are completed on a timely basis.
- Manage and budget e-commerce acquisition channels in collaboration with appropriate agencies, including SEM, SEO, and the paid marketing team. Explore new strategies for growing traffic and online sales, with experience in affiliate marketing, direct mail, SMS, and paid social.
- Define a calendar for online promotions/merchandising and content placement strategy with a clear focus on driving sales.
- Responsible for SEO strategy and on/off-page initiatives, managing the SEO agency, overseeing the implementation of optimizations, and monitoring performance.
- Collaborate closely with social, marketing, and creative manager to align brand plans and communication, ensuring a cohesive strategy.
- Manage relationships with platform representatives and internal content/creative teams, ensuring a consistent and optimized content approach.
- Monitor and analyze website and e-commerce data, identifying actions and implementing recommendations.
- Provide reporting on e-commerce and website performance to the management team, highlighting KPIs, accomplishments, and optimizations.
- Partner with the creative team to ensure on-brand and platform-appropriate content.
- Stay updated on e-commerce and digital marketing trends and industry best practices, identifying opportunities for the brand’s participation.
- Collaborate across teams to translate needs into actionable plans and roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in e-commerce and digital marketing.
- Profound expertise in Shopify/Shopify Plus and e-commerce and digital marketing data analysis with Google Analytics.
- Expertise in using web analytics and sales data to conduct analysis, draw conclusions, and drive actions based on multiple data sources.
- Experience working with developers on UX/UI enhancements and bug fixes.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong project management skills.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Ability to pivot between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for learning and collaboration.
- Comprehensive understanding of the digital customer acquisition funnel and e-commerce ecosystem.
- Proven track record of success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel (Google Docs) experience preferred.
- Basic Adobe Photoshop and Canva experience required.
- Strong passion for the fashion business, particularly jewelry, and staying updated on trends.
