About Bridges to Learning
Bridges to Learning (“B2L”) is a nonprofit dedicated to providing education, healthcare, and essential resources to children in Vietnam. Through sponsorships, fundraising, and community engagement, we create opportunities for children to build brighter futures. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, and tech-savvy administrator to support our communications, marketing, and event coordination efforts. This is an excellent part-time opportunity for an early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, donor relations, and fundraising.
📌 What You’ll Do
Marketing & Communications (40%)
- Manage email communications (info@bridges2learning) and respond to donor inquiries.
- Create and send a quarterly newsletter (via MailChimp), including copywriting, editing, and formatting.
- Maintain and update social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Assist in donor engagement—thanking donors, managing sponsorships, and developing recognition programs.
- Work with sponsored schools in Vietnam to gather updates for newsletters, social media, and donor communications.
Event Coordination & Fundraising (30%)
- Support the planning and execution of annual fundraising events (e.g., Gala, Wine Tasting, Vietnamese Dinner).
- Assist with venue booking, food/beverage planning, and event logistics.
- Create event invitations, social media promotions, and marketing materials.
- Process ticket sales, donations, and sponsorships for events.
- Assist in coordinating volunteers for events.
Website & CRM Management (20%)
- Assist 3rd party website manager in updating the website (WordPress) with events, blog posts, and donor stories.
- Maintain CRM (Neon) for donor records, sponsorships, and communication.
- Monitor nonprofit rating sites (e.g., Charity Navigator, GuideStar) and update profiles as needed.
- Support SEO and outreach efforts to expand B2L’s online presence.
Grant Writing & Administration (10%)
- Assist in writing grant applications & letters of inquiry.
- Help maintain nonprofit compliance ratings & annual reports.
- Provide light administrative support for Board meetings (scheduling, agenda prep, document organization).
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, nonprofit work, communications, or event planning.
- Strong writing and editing skills for newsletters, donor emails, and social media.
- Experience with MailChimp, Canva, or social media management tools is a plus.
- Tech-savvy—comfortable learning new platforms like Neon CRM, donor databases, and fundraising platforms.
- Organized and self-motivated—able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Passion for nonprofits, education, and social impact work.
- Flexible availability to support 1-2 evening/weekend events per year
